Baruch College is a member of the national NCAA Division III, regional Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC), and local City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC).

The athletic department strives to produce championship teams, while helping to enhance the experience of the student-athlete to become better leaders in the future. Through athletics, student-athletes can learn the true meaning of sportsmanship, leadership, and team spirit, which are values that can provide a lifetime of success.

In addition, as one of the top academic and diverse institutions in the United States, all our student-athletes at Baruch will receive a top-notch education, and have access to all the facilities and resources to support their education in whatever major they choose.

Mission Statement – Baruch

To develop and maintain a NCAA Division III athletic program, which attracts recognition to the College by:

Providing student-athletes with an opportunity to compete successfully in an intercollegiate athletic program that is an integral part of their educational experience.

Exhibiting integrity and academic achievement at the highest level; and consistently competing for conference championships and opportunities to compete for the NCAA and ECAC Championships.

Operating Values

Attract a diverse population of student-athletes who have high academic standards and will embrace the mission of the College.

Support a comprehensive life skills program emphasizing a healthy, safe lifestyle free of NCAA banned performance enhancers or substance abuse.

Provide a personalized learning environment with equitable personal opportunities for students to develop their leadership potential.

Win or lose, encourage student-athletes to provide a winning effort, exhibit sportsmanship, and demonstrate respect for all.
