Nicole Baruffaldi, a 2008 CUNYAC First Team All-Star, has been named the Athlete of the Month for October.

Nicole, a  team captain, helped the Bearcats finish the season with 17 wins and notched solid individual statistics of 140 kills (2.64 average) and 131 digs (2.47 average) during the arduous month of October.

Among her highlights was 16 kills and 15 digs against New Jersey City, along with a 10 kill and 11 dig performance against SUNY-Old Westbury.
