For the second time this season, freshman Idan Saragosti has been named the Athlete of the Month.
Idan was previously the Athlete of the Month for November and repeats again as the winner for the month of February.
Saragosti had a terrific February in not only breaking more school and CUNYAC records, but he established Baruch history in the ECAC Open Finals and earned qualification to an NCAA B standard event.

** At the CUNYAC Finals, Idan finished first in the 200 free (CUNYAC & Baruch Record) and 100 free (CUNYAC record) events, to go along with a solid 2nd place finish in the 200 I.M. (Baruch Record). As a relay member, he was on the winning 200, 400 and 800 free relays (all Baruch records), and also finished 2nd in the 200 medley relay.
** Idan became the first swimmer from Baruch to qualify for three individual events at the ECAC Open Finals hosted by Harvard University. At the meet, he broke his three school records in the 200 I.M., 100 Fly, and 200 Fly in which be became the first Baruch swimmer to qualify for the NCAA B Standard in this latter event.
