Baruch basketball player Steven Bader was named a First Team Jewish All-American in the NCAA Div. II, III, NAIA category, according to a recent announcement made by the Jewish Sports Review.
Bader, a 6-foot-5 forward, averaged 10.8 points and 9.5 rebounds for the 23-6 men’s basketball team that played in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
Bader also shot 56 percent from the field and averaged 1.9 blocks per game.
The All-American team is voted on by the bi-monthly publication Jewish Sports Review, which reports on progress and successes of Jewish players on both the intercollegiate and professional level of the United States sports scene.
