Junior guard Chris Beauchamp has been honored for a successful 2010-11 season by being named a 2011 Second Team Atlantic Region All-Star in voting conducted by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC).

The graduate of Xavier High School in New York City averaged a team-leading 17.7 points and connected on 55-of-164 three points attempts during the recently-concluded season.

He scored his 1,000th career point in a home win against Lehman College on Friday, February 4, and is currently in 12th place all-time in Baruch men’s basketball history with 1,095 total points.  

In addition, he was also named a CUNYAC First Team All-Star on February 17, 2011. He led the conference in free throw shooting (.884), and was fourth overall in scoring (17.7).
