POINTS SCORING IN CROSS COUNTRY: Please note in cross country team scoring that only the first five runners that finish for a team count towards the team's total points. Therefore, if a team places runners in 3, 9, 10, 12, and 23rd places, it totals 57 points when adding the top five finishes. The team with the lowest point total wins the race. If a team does not have five runners in the race, they do not count toward the team scoring.
