Men's Soccer Win Streak Reaches Three, Defeat Sarah Lawrence

The men's soccer team defeated defeated the Gryphons from Sarah Lawrence College, 7-1, in a non-conference match on Sunday afternoon at Tibbetts Brook Park in Yonkers, New York.

Six different players scored (seventh was an own goal) in the rout as the visiting Bearcats attempted a season-high 36 shots compared to nine by the hosts from the Skyline Conference.

Victor Torres registered four saves in the road win.

The Gryphon scored their lone goal in the 68th minute on a penalty kick by Colin Berg.

The Bearcats will resume their CUNYAC schedule on Wednesday, September 20, with a 6 p.m. clash against rival Hunter College at Randall's Island Field #83.
