The men's basketball team finished 1-1 this weekend with their two-conference contests in Madison, New Jersey.

Last night, they defeated FDU-Florham, 52-44, but this afternoon lost 73-58 to Drew University.

The home team Rangers shot 52 percent in the first half, which included hitting seven 3-pointers, to jump ahead 45-29 at the break.

The Bearcats kept pushing to get back into it, but shooting 3-of-19 from three and only nine field goals in the second half hampered their efforts.

Emil Purisic scored 13 points, while Michael Gannon and Akil Vaughn had 11 each.

Andrew Turco led the home side with 20 points (6-11 3fg).
