Men's Basketball Scores Triple-Figures Again, Defeat Medgar Evers

For the second time in a week, the men's basketball team scored 100+points as they won 123-69 against the Cougars of Medgar Evers College.

The visiting Bearcats saw six different players get into double-figures and 13 total players score in the win that helps them improve to 10-2 in the CUNYAC standings.

The Bearcats built up a 57-28 halftime advantage and kept the momentum going in the second half shooting 64 percent (28-for-44) to score 123 points tonight after scoring 129 last Thursday in the Battle of Lexington.

Devin Nicholson led the way with 24 points (9 for-12 fg, 6-8 3fg), while Dylan Minnick had a career-high 18 points (7-for-7 fg) off the bench. Emil Purisic (8-12 fg) narrowly missed a double-double with 16 points, nine rebounds, and also had a career-high six assists. Jehmehl Fair tied a career-high with 15 rebounds.

Joshua Jean Pierre was tops for the Cougars with 17 points.

The Bearcats will quickly return to action on Friday night with a home battle for first place against Lehman College.
