Game Recap: Men's Volleyball |

Men's Volleyball Clinches Quarterfinal Bye, Defeat York

The men's volleyball team defeated the Cardinals of York College in a pair of CUNYAC matches played on Monday night in Jamaica, New York.

The visiting Bearcats won 25-6, 25-6, 25-5 in the first match and 25-3, 25-7, 25-11 in the second match to improve to 15-10 overall and 11-2 in the CUNYAC standings.

Tonight's two wins help assure the Bearcats of a Top 2 finish in the CUNYAC standings, which clinches a quarterfinal bye straight to the semi-final round next Thursday, April 13.

The Bearcats will host an opponent to be determined in the semi-final next Thursday at 6 pm in the ARC Arena.

The team will finish their regular season schedule tomorrow night at 6 p.m. at Lehman College.
