Senior baseball shortstop Jorge Rosado was named the Baruch Athlete of the Month for April/May.
Rosado had a dominant April/May by combining for 47 runs, 28 RBI, 11 doubles, 22 stolen bases, and an impressive .470 batting average during the final stretch of the season that ended with a CUNYAC Tournament Championship at Keyspan Park in Brooklyn.

NOTE: Due to the month of May having limited overall games, the monthly honorary award is combined for April and May.
** Batted a perfect 4-4 from the plate with two home runs, four runs scored, and four RBI’s in a win over Mitchell College (4/8). In the next game of the doubleheader in New London, Connecticut, Jorge batted 3-4 from the plate, scored five runs and knocked in four RBI to help sweep Mitchell in a doubleheader.
** Scored three runs and recorded three RBI a big road win over Lehman College (4/18).
** In his finest game of the season, Jorge batted 5-5 from the plate and knocked in seven RBI’s to go along with three runs score in a road conference rout over Lehman (4/18).
** Knocked in four RBI’s and scored two runs in a conference game against the College of Staten Island (4/25).
** Batted 3-4 from the plate with three runs and two doubles in the first round of the CUNYAC Baseball Championships against Mitchell College (5/7).
** For his outstanding efforts throughout the season, Jorge was named the CUNYAC Baseball Player of the Year.
