The women's volleyball team defeated Centenary College by the scores of 30-16, 30-18, and 30-24 in a non-conference match played on Saturday afternoon in Hackettstown, New Jersey.
The victory is the third straight and ninth overall in their last 10 matches. They improve their regular season record to 12-14, while their conference record stands at 5-3.
The Bearcats were led by sophomore Alice Livermore (Westbury, N.Y./W.T. Clarke) with nine kills and five service aces, while freshman Mayra Estepan (Jackson Heights, N.Y./Francis Lewis) had 15 assists and six digs.
Sophomore Sadjola Qeraj (Albania/Grover Cleveland) notched 10 assists, four digs, and three kills in one of her top matches of the fall season.
Sophomore Lizmarie Vasquez (Bronx, N.Y./lehman) led the team again with nine digs.
The Bearcats will finish their conference schedule this Tuesday night with a 7:00 p.m. road match at Medgar Evers.
