The women's volleyball team won their third consecutive match with a 30-16, 30-26, 30-20 sweep of York College in a home conference match played on Tuesday night in the ARC Arena.
The Bearcats controlled most of the match, but found themselves in a tough battle in the second set trailing, 19-12. They overcame the deficit with a strong rally to win, 30-26.
Alice Livermore (Westbury, N.Y./W.T. Clarke) led the way with 11 kills and two service aces, while Myra Estepan (Jackson Heights, N.Y./Francis Lewis) recorded 34 assists and four service aces.
Lizmarie Vasquez (Bronx, N.Y./Lehman) had 11 digs and Brianne McCabe (Rocky Point, N.Y./Rocky Point) contributed nine kills.
Richelle Bourne led York with eight kills and three digs.
Baruch will next play this Thursday night with a non-conference home match against Polytechnic. First serve in the ARC Arena is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
