The men's volleyball team will now hope for a berth to the ECAC South Tournament to continue their season.

Volleyball Lose N.E.C.V.A. Opener to Eastern Mennonite (30-28, 30-17, 30-24)

The men's volleyball team lost in three to Eastern Mennonite University of Virginia in the first round of the North East Collegiate Volleyball Association (N.E.C.V.A.) Championship Tournament played on Friday night at Endicott College in Beverly, Massachusetts.

The Bearcats (29-6) fell by the scores of 30-28, 30-17, 30-24.

Junior Steve Rouse (New York, N.Y./A.P. Randolph) led the Bearcats with 10 kills and sophomore Danial Levent (Forest Hills, N.Y./American Studies) added nine kills and four total blocks. Senior setter King Cheng (Great Neck, N.Y./Great Neck South) dished out 35 assists.

The Bearcats will now pin their hopes of keeping their season alive by hoping to earn one of four at-large berths to the ECAC South Tournament on Saturday, April 15.

The field of four teams will be announced on Monday night, April 3.
