Bearcats Arrest Bloodhounds (9-0); Need One More Win To Clinch Regular Season Title

The men's tennis team swept John Jay, 9-0, in a conference match played on Tuesday afternoon at the U.S. National Tennis Center in Queens.

The Bearcats (8-0, 6-0 CUNYAC) won all six singles and three doubles encounters to defeat the Bloodhounds.

They need just one win in their two remaining conference matches, against either CSI or York, to clinch their third consecutive regular season title. 

Today's win also extended their streak to 29 in a row.

The Bearcats will return to action Friday with a conference match against Staten Island. First serve, in a home match at the College of Staten Island, is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
