The women's volleyball team lost their two matches on Saturday in the CUNYAC Multi-Match hosted by the Baruch Athletic Department in the ARC Arena.
The Bearcats lost their morning match to Hunter College in four sets by the scores of 13-30, 16-30, 30-25, and 15-30.
Sophomores Maya Kagan (Brooklyn, N.Y./Stuyvesant) led the Bearcats with 14 assists, while Brianne McCabe (Rocky Point, N.Y./Rocky Point) and Star Soanes (Dominica, West Indies/Norman Thomas) each tallied four kills.
Karolina Koguc (Brooklyn, N.Y./New Utrecht) led Hunter with 11 kills.
In the second match, CCNY took all three from the Bearcats by the scores of 23-30, 22-30, 25-30.
Kagan dished out a team-high 24 assists, while McCabe led with nine kills.
Jacqueline Peralta (Manhattan, NY/Brandeis) led CCNY with 21 kills, seven service aces, and 19 digs.
Baruch will return to action this Tuesday with a conference road match at Lehman College in the Bronx. First serve is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
