Women's Tennis Stretch Winning Streak to Four, Defeat John Jay (9-0)

The women's tennis team defeated John Jay, 9-0, in a conference match played on Friday afternoon at the U.S National Tennis Center in Queens.

The Bearcats (4-1, 3-0 CUNYAC) won all six singles and three doubles to pick up their third victory in CUNYAC and fourth straight overall on the season.

The highlight of the match was the # 4 singles encounter that lasted 2.5 hours and finished at 7:22 p.m. under the lights.

The Bearcats will play Kean on Saturday in a non-conference match scheduled for Noon in Union, New Jersey.

# 3. Mariya Krivorotova & Alexandra Vamanu (B) def. Melissa Rodriguez &  Abigail Arcenal (JJ), 8-1.
