The women's volleyball team earned their first conference road victory on Tuesday night with a 30-10, 30-25, 30-11sweep against the Dophins from the College of Staten Island.
The victory was a well-rounded perfomance with every player contributing.
Alice Livermore (Westbury, N.Y./W.T. Clarke) led the way in kills with 11 (no errors), followed by Mariya Korobkova (Brooklyn, N.Y./New Utrecht) with nine and Staren Soanes (Dominica, West Indies/Norman Thomas) with seven.
Freshman Myra Epsten (Jackson Heights, N.Y./Francis Lewis) dished out 20 assists, while sophomore Lizmarie Vasquez (Bronx, N.Y./Lehman) had eight digs.
The Bearcats will participate this weekend in the Hartwick College Invitational in Oneonta, New York.
They will start play against Utica (4:30 p.m.) and SUNY-Plattsburgh (8:30 p.m.) on Friday.
