CUNYAC Women's Volleyball Report - 10/1

The women’s volleyball team swept the Cardinals of York College in three (30-12, 30-16, 30-23) in a conference road match played on Tuesday night in Jamaica, New York. 

Junior Nicole Baruffaldi (Ossining, NY/Ossining) led the way with seven kills and seven digs, while freshman Lauren Palmer (Fort Worth, Texas/W.E. Boswell) recorded four kills.

Freshman setter Kristin Walker (Fayetteville, Arkansas/Fayetteville) dished out 24 assists to help capture the victory. 

The Bearcats will return to action on Friday when they travel to Mahwah, New Jersey to participate in the Ramapo College Invitational.

They will open invitational play against the State University of New York Institute of Technology (6:00 pm) and Ramapo College (8:00 pm).
