BOX SCORE

Jody Trapp (New Rochelle, N.Y./New Rochelle) nailed five three-pointers and Dominique McClendon (Chicago, III/Seaside) recorded another double-double to lead the Bearcats to a 63-50 home victory over Lehman College in front of over 1,000 fans on Wednesday night in the ARC Arena.

Baruch will finish their 2006-07 regular-season schedule this Friday night, as they travel up Lexington Avenue on the # 6 subway to face arch-rival Hunter College at 5:30 pm.

The Bearcats (17-7, 12-0 CUNYAC) started the game strong by jumping out to a 16-6 score in the opening six minutes, but the Lightning of Lehman fought back to take a three-point lead at 23-20 with five minutes left.

The Bearcats called timeout and came out of the huddle to end the half with a 12-4 run for a 32-27 halftime advantage.

The second half started with the same intensity, as Lehman (14-9, 8-4 CUNYAC) kept the score close, but Trapp hit three consecutive 3-pointers in 80 seconds to quickly turn a 47-44 lead into 56-44. That seemed to knock the air out of Lehman and they never recovered, as Baruch captured its 17th victory of the season.

Trapp, honored with Racquel Reid (Bronx, N.Y./Washington Irving) and Ally Stamatiades (Astoria, N.Y./W.C. Bryant) prior to the game on Senior Night, finished with 15 points, while McClendon had 16 points and 12 rebounds.

Reid recorded 14 points and six rebounds, while Chiresse Paradise (Chicago, III./Rich Central) added 12 points, eight assists, and six steals. Stamatiades finished her illustrious career during the regular season in the ARC Arena with nine points.

Sophomore Sally Nnamani (New York, N.Y./Warwick Valley) led the visitors with 20 points, via 5-of-7 shooting from beyond the arc.
