The women’s swimming team wrapped up their regular season schedule by defeating Lehman College, 118-89, on Thursday night in the Bronx.
The victory was another team effort, as the Bearcats finish regular season with nine meet victories and clinch second place in the CUNY Athletic Conference standings.

The Bearcats will next compete in the conference finals scheduled to begin on Thursday, January 31, at Lehman College in the Bronx.
HIGHLIGHTS
* The team of Grace Kim (Flushing, N.Y./Francis Lewis), Tiffany Wong (Brooklyn, N.Y./Midwood), Jia Feng (Brooklyn, N.Y./Fort Hamilton) and Irina Statina (Brooklyn, N.Y./U.K.S. #14) took first place in the 200 Medley Relay.
* Cassandra Mendola (Brooklyn, N.Y./Bishop Kearney) was victorious with personal best times in the 1000 and 500 Free events.
* Jia Feng won the 200 Free and placed second in the 100 Fly.
* Annelie Gregor (Stockholm, Sweden/Huddinge) won the 200 I.M. and 100 Free (personal best time) events.
* Irina Statina (Brooklyn, N.Y./U.K.S. #14) placed second in the 100 and 200 Free events.
* Keiko Akashi (Hillcrest, N.Y./Archbishop Molloy) placed second in the 1-meter diving competition.
* Dorene Chin (Valley Stream, N.Y./Memorial) placed first, Laura Tumulak (Staten Island, N.Y./Notre Dame) second in the 50 Free.
* Tiffany Wong placed second in the 200 I.M.
* Dawn Wursthorn (Middle Village, N.Y./Archbishop Molloy) was victorious in the 100 Fly.
