Men's Volleyball Defeats Brooklyn (30-5, 30-28, 31-29)

The men’s volleyball team started off strong to defeat the Bridges from Brooklyn College in three in a CUNY Athletic Conference match on Thursday night in Brooklyn.

 

Danial Levent (Forest Hills, N.Y./American Studies) led Bearcats again with 16 kills and 20 digs, while Radu Wyrwas (Bialystok, Poland/Grover Cleveland) dished out 28 assists.

 

Boris Svirsky (Baltimore, Md./Hillcrest) notched eight kills and three aces. Sergey Dudchenko (Lviv, Ukraine/Lafayette) added eight digs.

 

With the victory, the Bearcats are 5-0 in the conference standings and 7-6 overall on the regular season. They will resume action next Tuesday, February 19, with a 7:00 pm home match against the College of Mount Saint Vincent.
