The men’s volleyball team continued their strong conference form by defeating York College in three in a CUNYAC road match on Thursday night at York College.

Jan Wojdat (Lindenhurst, N.Y./Lindenhurst) led the way with 11 kills (.524 hitting pct.) and no errors, while Eric Quintero (New York, N.Y./John Adams) had a solid match with seven total kills (.600 hitting pct.). 

Radu Wyrwas (Bialystock, Poland/Grover Cleveland) recorded 28 assists and seven digs.

The visiting Bearcats had plenty of support on the defensive end this evening with Levi Rachmanov (Fresh Meadows, N.Y./Francis Lewis) totaling 15 digs and Sergey Dudchenko (Lviv, Ukraine/Lafayette) with 10. 

Marcin Kasza (Kobluszi, Poland/Newcomers) had 13 assists and six digs for York (2-7, 1-5 CUNYAC).

The men’s volleyball team (9-6, 6-0 CUNYAC) will return to action this Saturday when Baruch College hosts CUNYAC’s second multi-match of the season. The Bearcats will battle Hunter College (11:00 am) and City College of New York (3:00 pm).
