The men’s volleyball team won their fourth straight match on Thursday night by defeating Medgar Evers College. The victory improves the Bearcats to 13-7 overall and 9-1 in the CUNY Athletic Conference.

Eric Quintero (New York, N.Y./John Adams) led the visiting Bearcats with a career-high 18 kills and two solo blocks. 

Radu Wyrwas (Bialystok, Poland/Grover Cleveland) recorded 20 assists and five kills, while Danial Levent (Forest Hills, N.Y./American Studies) finished with six kills, 11 assists and three service aces.

The Bearcats will take a two hour trip Friday to upstate New York to compete this weekend in the Bard College Invitational.

They will open play against Purchase State on Friday night at 6:00 pm, followed by a Saturday morning match against Lasell (Boston) at 10:00 am.
