The College of Staten Island scored twice in the ninth inning to defeat the Baruch Bearcats, 7-6, on Sunday afternoon at Westchester Community College in Valhalla, New York.

The Bearcats led on three different occasions by the scores of 3-1, 4-3, and 6-5, but in the end, the visiting Dolphins scored twice in their final at-bat to clinch the victory.

Staten Island outfielder Ray Valerio (Brooklyn, N.Y./Utrecht) also made an acrobatic catch in the bottom of the ninth inning to help keep Baruch off the scoreboard in their final plate appearance.
