The Baruch College cheerleaders competed during the weekend of March 14-15 at the Grand National Championships by the Sea competition held at the Convention Center in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Due to bad weather in the region, several teams competing in Baruch's group cancelled, leaving the Bearcats as the remaining collegiate team in the event.

As a result, the team was placed in a different competition group as organizers rescheduled various teams to adapt to the last minute cancellations.

Despite the competitiveness of the new group, the Bearcats performed their routine flawlessly and attracted the positive attention of the crowd at the large convention center in Virginia Beach.

The team has worked hard all year to continue to grow the Baruch cheerleading program and compete against some of the top teams in the field of cheerleading.
