The women’s tennis team lost their season opener to the State University of New York at Purchase by the score of 7-2 in a non-conference match on Tuesday afternoon in Purchase, New York.

The visiting Bearcats were victorious in first and second singles, but dropped the remaining four singles and three doubles encounters in a match contested between CUNYAC and Skyline conference schools.
