Women's Tennis: York 6, Baruch 3

The women’s tennis team lost a 6-3 match to the Cardinals of York College in a CUNYAC contest played on Friday afternoon at the U.S. National Tennis Center in Queens.

York began by winning all three doubles to jump out to the 3-0 lead. They won three of the six singles to win the match overall, 6-3.

The Bearcats recorded victories in the first three singles contests with Angelina Herman, Anna Komar and Viktoriya Morozova winning their encounters.

SCHEDULE REVISIONS

Mount Saint Mary: Due to scheduling conflicts, this non-conference match will not be made up this season. The match was postponed by rain on September 30.

Lehman: The two teams have attempted twice to play this match, but it was rained out both times. The match is rescheduled a third time to Saturday, October 9 at 12:00 pm. The match will be played at the Lehman College tennis courts.

Brooklyn: This match was started but unable to finish due to rain. Brooklyn is winning, 3-2. The match will be finished on Wednesday, October 13, at 5:00 pm, at Brooklyn College tennis courts.
