Bearcats Fall to York (7-2)

The women’s tennis team lost a 7-2 match to the Cardinals of York College in a CUNYAC contest played on Friday afternoon at the York College Tennis Courts in Jamaica, New York.

The Cardinals won two of the three doubles and five of the six singles to post the conference victory.

Baruch’s
Marianna Kogan and Anna Komar teamed up at #2 doubles to record an 8-2 victory.

Komar was also victorious at #3 singles by recording a 6-4, 3-6, 6-4 victory.

The women’s tennis team will return to action on Saturday, October 8, with a non-conference home contest against SUNY-Purchase from the Skyline Conference. First serve at the York College Tennis Courts are scheduled for 12:00 pm.
