The baseball team suffered a 12-0 defeat to the Ducks from the Stevens Institute of Technology on Monday afternoon in Hoboken, New Jersey.

Stevens (11-17) earned the victory with 17 total hits and broke open a 1-0 contest in the fifth inning with three runs. They added three more in the sixth and blew it wide open with five in the seventh to record the shutout.

The visiting Bearcats (12-17) were limited to a single each by Richard Melendez and Thomas Daly.

The baseball team will look to bounce back and continue their preparations for the upcoming CUNYAC Tournament with a home game on Tuesday, April 26, against the Gothic Knights of New Jersey City University. First pitch at MCU Park in Coney Island is scheduled for 4:00 pm.
