The women’s volleyball team earned their second conference victory of the season on Tuesday night with a three set victory at CCNY.

The visiting Bearcats posted scores of 25-14, 25-17, 25-13 to raise their record to 5-4 overall and 2-1 in CUNYAC, while the Beavers of CCNY drop to 1-7 overall and 1-2 in CUNYAC.

Rebecca Peralta led the attack with this evening with 12 kills (.647) and seven digs. Lauren Hayden had 10 kills with a .571 hitting percentage, while Jessica Wu contributed eight kills (.375) and five service aces.

Melinda Santiago dished out 23 assists in the victory.

The women’s volleyball team will return to action with their home opener on Thursday, September 15, at 7:00 pm, against the SUNY College of Old Westbury Panthers from the Skyline Conference.
