The women’s tennis team lost a 5-0 CUNYAC contest to rival Hunter College on Tuesday afternoon at the U.S. National Tennis Center in Queens.

During the regular season, teams play three doubles and six singles for a nine point contest. However, due to a light drizzle and concern over wet courts, the match was halted upon Hunter (6-3, 4-1 CUNYAC) clinching the fifth winning point.

The Bearcats (5-5, 4-2 CUNYAC) will return to action on Friday, October 12, with a 3:30 pm CUNYAC home contest against CCNY at the U.S. National Tennis Center.
