Women's Tennis Easily Defeat Rutgers-Newark (8-1), Win Streak at Three

The women's tennis team won their third straight match by defeating Rutgers-Newark, 8-1, on Friday afternoon in Newark, New Jersey.

The Bearcats took control early by winning all three doubles and five of the six singles to record the non-conference road victory.

The women's tennis team will return to action on Columbus Day, Monday, October 8, at 3:15 pm. They will resume a match against Brooklyn College that was suspended by rain on October 4. Brooklyn was leading 2-1 after doubles competition.
