The 40th Annual Athletic Varsity Awards Dinner took place on Thursday evening, May 24, to honor the varsity teams and student-athletes for their accomplishments during the successful 2011-12 year.

The department distributed various honorary and team awards, including plaques for each of the seniors finishing their outstanding athletic careers at Baruch College. In addition, each of the coaches presented their end of the season team awards in the category of MVP, Rookie of the Year or Coaches Award.

The Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) also gave every student-athlete, coach and VIP a free t-shirt to honor winning of the CUNYAC Commissioner Cup for the third straight year.

CUNYAC only counts the top 10 teams with points. (Men's and Women's Cross country each accumulated 5pts finishing second in the Finals, but it does not count among this year's top 10 as so many teams had points).  In basketball, regular season points are awarded based on their respective North/South Division finish, not overall regular season finish.
