The women's tennis team lost a tough match by the score of 6-3 on Thursday night against William Paterson University in Wayne, New Jersey.

The visiting Bearcats suffered the loss by winning only one of the three doubles and four of the six singles.

Jessica Duleba and Elizavetta Glotova earned the victory in third doubles with the score of 8-5.

Duleba also won her fifth singles flight in a narrow tie-breaker score of 6-1, 5-7, 7-6.

Amanda Naraine earned the third team point at sixth singles, winning 6-2, 6-3.

The Bearcats will quickly return to action on Friday, September 20, with a 3:30 pm CUNYAC road match at York College in Jamaica, New York.
