The women's tennis team started their season on a high note with a 7-2 home victory over the Panthers of SUNY-Purchase on Saturday afternoon in Jamaica, New York.

The Bearcats won five of the six singles and two of the three doubles to end a five-match losing streak to the Panthers from the Skyline Conference.
