In an upset, the women's swimming team lost to Hunter College, despite placing second in almost every event.

The Bearcats conference record is now 3-1.

The team won two events. Rachel Samuels and Daniela Marquez tied for first place in the 50 freestyle with the time of 30.49, over a full second ahead of the third place finisher.

Later, captain Sally Lim would convincingly win the 400 freestyle against the Hunter, who previously beat Lim in the 800 freestyle, with the time of 5:12.41.
 
The Bearcats look to bounce back as they return to action on Monday evening, January 12 at Brooklyn College.
