The baseball team lost an 11-0 shutout to the Gothic Knights of New Jersey City University on Tuesday afternoon in Jersey City, New Jersey.

The Bearcats fell behind early by allowing four runs in the first inning and could not recover the rest of the game in being limited to four hits.

Angel Tejeda (triple), Dan Daley (double), Zachary T. Uher (single) and Nicholas Calabrese (single) accounted for the hits on a drizzly and cold afternoon in New Jersey.

The Gothic Knights (4-7) totaled 11 runs on 14 hits and committed one error.

The Bearcats (5-12) will look to bounce back on Thursday, April 2, with a 4:00pm non-conference home contest at MCU Park against St. Joseph's College of Brooklyn.
