Relays: 11 (1st Place), 4 (2nd Place), 2 (3rd Place)
Individual: 9 (1st Place), 4 (2nd Place), 3 (3rd Place), 2 (4th Place), 1 (5th Place)

The women's swimming team lost 60-35 to the Hawks of Hunter College in a CUNYAC Meet on Friday night at the Hunter Sportsplex in uptown Manhattan.

The men's and women's swimming teams will return to action on Monday, January 11, at 6:00 pm with a CUNYAC home meet against Brooklyn College. The team will also honor their seniors that evening.

HIGHLIGHTS

*Wendy Ambrosio finished first in the 1,000 freestyle (12:09.20) and second in the 500 freestyle (5:52.84).

*Rose Lee recorded a pair of second place finishes in the 200 freestyle (2:13.78) and 100 backstroke (1:06.23) events.

*Amy Sung was second in both the 100 freestyle (1:01.88) and 100 breaststroke (1:13.58) events,

*Yee Chung Phang placed second in the 200 Individual Medley (2:25.88).

*The team rounded out the evening on a high note with Lee, Phang, Ambrosio and Safiya Sergeant winning the 200 freestyle relay with a time of 1:48.84.
