The Baruch College Bearcats traveled on Thursday night to Flushing, New York to compete in a dual meet against NCAA D2 Queens College and Adelphi University.

The men's team came away victorious with a 53-51 win over Queens.

The Bearcats will resume action on Monday, November 14, with a 6 p.m. CUNYAC meet at the Cardinals of York College in Jamaica, New York.

HIGHLIGHTS (Yards)

* The women's 200 medley relay team of Asimina Hamakiotes, Yee Chung Phang, Daniela Giraldo, and Rachel Samuels finished second behind Adelphi and ahead of Queens with a time of 2:03.92.

*The men's 200 medley relay team of Eddy Min, Jonathan Hla, Sam Fassler, and Andrew Lubrino finished second behind Adelphi and ahead of Queens with a time of 1:48.85.

* Wendy Ambrosio finished in second place in the marathon 1,00 yard free (12:38.38) and third in the 500 free (6:04.60).

* Andrew Lubrino, this week's CollegeSwimming.com CUNYAC Swimmer of the Week,  finished fourth in the 50 free (23.52).  

*Yee Chung Phang was third in the 200 I.M. (2:28.90).

* Daniela Giraldo was third in the 100 butterfly (1:06.04).

*Asimina Hamakiotes was third in the 100 free (59.33).

*Ashley Louke was third in the 100 back (1:10.22). 

* Jonathan Hla placed third in the 100 breast (1:06.68).

*The 200 freestyle relay team of Gabrielle Huezo, Rachel Samuels, Wendy Ambrosio, and Debbie Li finished third (1:53.36).

*The 200 freestyle relay team of Dennis Chu, Joseph Vasile, Sam Fassler, and Erik Kantar placed third (1:39.71).
