Bearcats Fall to Rutgers-Newark at Bears Minor League Stadium

The baseball team lost 8-0 to the Scarlet Raiders of Rutgers University-Newark on Thursday afternoon at Bears Stadium in Newark, New Jersey.

The visiting Bearcats had five total hits and loaded the bases early in the first inning, but could not push across any runs in their best scoring chance during the afternoon.

Michael McGroarty and John Paul Cattaro (double) each recorded two hits.

The Scarlet Raiders scored two runs in each of the first two innings en route to the home win.
