The men's and women' swimming teams competed against the Division I program from Manhattan College on Tuesday night in Riverdale, New York.

The two schools were originally scheduled to compete on Monday, January 16, but the match was rescheduled to last night.

The Jaspers from the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) placed a first place finisher in each event en route to the win on their Senior Night.

HIGHLIGHTS

*The team of Andrea Gasic , Yee Chung Phang, Daniela Giraldo, and Rachel Samuels finished second in the 200 medley relay (2:00.74).

*Samuels also had a solid meet by finishing second in the quick 50 free (26.74).

* Giraldo, the CUNYAC Women's Swimmer of the Week on January 17, recorded second place in the 100 butterfly (1:05.46).

*Andrew Lubrino had a solid meet by placing second in the 50 free (23.19) and 100 free events (51.34).

*Eddy Min was second in the 100 butterfly (58.78).
