New Rochelle Knocks Out Bearcats

The College of New Rochelle Blue Angels swept the Bearcats with scores of 25-8, 25-14, 25-21 on Thursday evening in New Rochelle, New York.

The Blue Angels hit .324 (34 kills) while the visiting Bearcats hit .056 (19 kills).

Taylor Mello led the Bearcats' attack with five kills. Katherine Chen had nine assists and Danielle Naggar 10 digs in the tough non-conference road loss.

Imani DeBose led the hosts with 10 kills (.300).

The Bearcats will next look to bounce back on Saturday, October 14, as they will host a Tri-Match on Dig Pink Day in the ARC Arena. The matches will be 11 a.m. (Bearcats vs SUNY Maritime), 1 p.m. (SUNY Maritime vs Rutgers-Newark), and 3:00 p.m. (Bearcats vs Rutgers-Newark).
