Women's Volleyball Wins at Purchase

The women's volleyball team team won an exciting match in four sets against the Panthers of SUNY Purchase on Tuesday night in Purchase, New York. 

The Bearcats lost the first set 25-27, but came back to win the next three with scores of 25-13, 25-20, 26-24 for the road victory against an opponent that competes in the Skyline Conference.   

The visiting Bearcats totaled 37 kills compared to 28 by Purchase. Both teams struggled hitting with the same percentage of .011.

Stella Chung had a busy match with seven kills, four aces, and 19 digs. Wai Chang led a balanced team attack with eight kills while Leslie Chen had six kills and Mina Pantovic five kills.

Katherine Chen dished out 20 assists to help in the win.

Maura Gribbins led the home team Panthers with 12 kills.
