Bearcats Honor Seniors During CUNYAC Home Match vs Hunter

The women's volleyball team lost in four sets to rival Hunter College Hawks in a CUNYAC home contest on Senior Night in the ARC Arena.

The visiting Hawks started on fire winning the first set 25-9 hitting a torrid .600. They took the second set 25-13 and appeared to be cruising, but the Bearcats did not go quietly and won a marathon third set 29-27 to the excitement of the home crowd. The Hawks did win the fourth set 25-16 to clinch the CUNYAC win.

Yijia Cai and Katherine Chen (15 assists) led the attack with six kills each. Stella Chung had nine digs. Leslie Chen recorded three blocks.

Miranda Hogan led the visitors from uptown Lexington Avenue with 31 assists.

Prior to this evening's match, the Baruch women's volleyball program honored seniors Yijia Cai and Leslie Chen for their service to the volleyball program.
