Bearcats Drop Non-Conference Contest to U.S.M.M.A.

The Bearcats suffered a 10-0 shutout to the Mariners from the United States Merchant Maine Academy on Tuesday afternoon at MCU Park on Coney Island.

The visiting Mariners posted 10 runs on 13 hits. They broke open the contest with four runs in the fifth inning.

The Bearcats scattered six hits in the tough loss with Jasdeep Buttar, Ramon Moreta (double) and Edwin St. Hilaire (one stolen base) contributing two hits each.

The teams threw a combined 10 pitchers in the contest.
