Women's Volleyball Rallies to Defeat CCNY

The women's volleyball overcame a first set loss to defeat the Beavers of CCNY in four sets in a CUNYAC contest on Thursday night.

The visiting Bearcats suffered a 25-23 defeat to start the conference match, but came back strong in the second set with a resounding 25-8 score by hitting .458.

They controlled the third (25-15) and fourth (25-28) sets en route to the tough win at Nat Holman Gymnasium.

Wai Chang(career-high 21 digs) and Katherine Chen led the attack with 10 kills each. Cindy Cui dished out 19 assists and Danielle Naggar totaled 19 digs in a total team effort for the win.  

Camila Franco-Diaz had 10 kills and Yana Shaposhnikova recorded 19 digs for the home team.
