Women's Volleyball Splits Mount Holyoke Tri-Match in Massachusetts

The women's volleyball team went 1-1 in a tri-match hosted by Mount Holyoke College on Saturday in South Hadley, Massachusetts.

The Bearcats started strong by defeating the hosts Lyons from the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) in four sets behind a strong effort from Anita Sengara (15 kills, 16 digs, five aces) and Stella Chung (12 kills, 13 digs, three aces).

They lost the next match to the Huskies from the University of Southern Maine in straight sets. Katherine Chen (five kills, nine assists) and Wai Chang (14 digs) led the way against their opponent that competes in the New England-based Little East Conference.
