Match Recap: Women's Tennis |

Purchase Defeats Bearcats (7-2)

The women's tennis team lost 7-2 in a rescheduled match on Sunday afternoon at the Alley Pond Tennis Center in Queens.

The two teams were initially scheduled to play on September 18, but weather postponed the match.

The Bearcats earned their two points at third doubles (Elizabeth Mak, Regina Avrutis, won 8-3) and fifth singles (Natalie Ibelhaupt, 6-3, 7-6 (7-5).

The team will begin a busy stretch of CUNYAC matches hitting the road to play Tuesday at York College and Saturday against Hunter College.
