Women's Volleyball Sweeps CUNYAC Multi-Match

The women's volleyball team began their CUNYAC schedule with a pair of 3-0 sweeps on Saturday in the ARC Arena.

They started the Multi-Match with a 25-11, 25-7, 25-16 victory against the Cougars of Medgar Evers College.

Anita Sengara tallied seven kills and five digs, while Katherine Chen had 13 assists. Stella Chung totaled four kills and Sanaa Soumia Hadjeb had six assists.

In the middle match, Medgar Evers defeated York, 25-12, 25-16, 25-22.

The Bearcats ended the Multi-Match by playing York and recorded a 25-4, 25-2, 25-6 win, hitting .400 with 22 aces.

Hadjeb had a career-high nine aces to stretch the team's win streak to three and go 2-0 in the early-season CUNYAC standings.
